What do you build?
We build a little of everything when it comes to custom furniture! Our styles include modern, industrial and farmhouse furniture styles. Not only do we build furniture out of solid wood, but we also incorporate metal bases into some of our builds. Check out out portfolio for examples of builds that we have made in the past. Do you deliver outside of Iowa?
Yes, we do! We have established relationships with a few different white glove services that will ship our products to almost anywhere in the country. We offer two different kinds of shipping, depending on your geographic location.
Surrounding States Delivery: We are based near Amana, Iowa. This would be most practical for states closest to us. This is a service offering a 1-man crew. Depending on your location, there may be a fee associated with a delivery.Customers will need to have aid on their receiving end to unload the table. We can assist in assembling and furniture placement. Once we finish building your furniture, we will contact you to set up specific details. Pricing with vary with location and furniture load. Please inquire for more information.
Premium White Glove Shipping: This option is for any location, but it is the most practical for long distances across the US. The process can be a completely hands-off process, depending on the need. The average price range for this service starts at $500 – $1000 for a white glove service. For an additional cost, the shippers will do all unloading, lifting, and assembly.Please keep in mind that our tables can weigh well over 300lbs! Once we finish building your furniture, we will contact you to set up specific details. Pricing with vary with location and furniture load. Please inquire for more information.
If you live outside of Iowa and are interested in building a table with us, please contact us and we can quote you a price based on your location.
Do you charge for delivery?
Price is subject to vary depending on details. Depending on your location, we may be able to offer free delivery and installation. However, please keep in mind that any free deliveries that are offered are subject to our availability and schedule. Please be accommodating to our needs for delivery. Free delivery and installation are one of the many added benefits of working with a local furniture company!
Can I pick up my furniture?
Yes, absolutely! Just be prepared for some heavy lifting! Once we finish building your furniture, we will contact you to set up specific details.
When can we expect delivery or shipment after placing an order?
Our lead time varies greatly from project to project. For some of our larger furniture items (i.e. tables), lead time is approximately 12-14 weeks out. If we can get your order to you earlier than the 14 weeks, we will try our best, but we ask our customers to factor for 14 weeks. For some of our smaller furniture items (i.e.clocks), lead time is about 4-5 weeks. Please inquire for more specific information.
Can I see some of your work in person?
Yes! You are more than welcome to set up a time to visit us to see some examples of our custom furniture. While we do not have a showroom just yet, we hope to have one available soon! Our owner, Ethan, is happy to speak with you about what you’re looking for and throw around ideas. He can answer any questions you may have about the pieces of furniture you see on display. We’d love for you to come in and see us!
Where can I find a price list?
Considering the nature of our business, we build to suit your needs. Therefore, specific pricing is difficult. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in regards to something specific. We will be happy to give you an estimate.
How do I start the ordering process for custom furniture?

What payment options do you offer?
To confirm an order, 100% of the purchase price is due at the time of order. A customer's order will not be added to our queue until payment is received.
When purchasing a custom furniture piece, you will need to contact us directly to discuss details. We will do our best to provide an accurate estimate, but because it is a custom piece, the actual charges may vary.
Due to our investment in your custom piece, we will be unable to refund any deposits an individual makes on a custom furniture item if you change your mind before the product is complete. Please contact us immediately if a dimension or measurement changes on a custom furniture item. We will do our best to accommodate or negotiate a new, adjusted price.
We process our online purchase orders through PayPal to promote a secure transition for both parties. PayPal also offers various financing options for buyers.
Please note that purchased processed through PayPal may incur an additional fee up to 2% of the purchase price. We also accept other forms of payment in-person, including cash and checks. Cash and checks will carry no additional processing fee. Please provide up to 10 business days to process checks before your order will be added to our queue.
Do you warranty your pieces?
We want to do our absolute best to ensure that you are satisfied with our products. If the product is damaged or does not meet your satisfaction, please let us know right away! We are happy to make repairs or replace pieces that are due to Hazel Oak Farms' negligence if you notify us within 30 days that you are not satisfied with our product. We will not be responsible for normal wear and tear or damage caused by the customer.
Do you ever have pieces available for immediate purchase?
Yes! We offer some select pieces of in-stock furniture. We understand that you don’t always have the time or patience to wait for a custom piece of furniture to be built. So, we have pieces of furniture available for immediate purchase. We often build pieces like this to display our work and give an example for customers who are unsure of exactly what they want. Feel free to contact us about stopping by our shop to check out what is available. If one of our in-stock pieces fit your needs, you are more than welcome to purchase! Typically we can deliver these pieces within one to two weeks. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to take with you on the day you purchase it.
